Requests and communications
We use your identity, contact details, property address, project description and attachments to reply, prepare a quote and organise the work, based on pre-contractual measures or contract performance. Required fields are necessary to handle the request; other details are optional. No automatic advertising emails are planned.
Portal and document vault
The manager accesses project records, files, messages and signature requests. Clients see content intended for them. Contractors using the project’s shared team code see the schedule and files explicitly shared with the team, but not private client messages or signature evidence. Shared access does not identify individual contractors. Codes expire after 30 days and can be replaced or disabled. Sessions last up to 8 hours. Expiry does not automatically delete documents.
Simple electronic signature
Signing involves viewing a frozen PDF, entering your name, accepting its contents and providing a one-time code emailed to the designated signer. A handwritten trace is optional. We retain the exact PDF, SHA-256 fingerprint, name, verified email, acceptance text, server date, IP address, browser information and optional trace. These records support contract performance and our legitimate interest in proving agreements and defending rights. They are available to the manager and relevant client, not the team. This process provides neither a qualified signature certificate nor a qualified timestamp. You may request paper signing before accepting.
Providers and transfers
Vercel hosts the website and private file storage in Paris; its network and support services may operate outside the EU. Resend sends emails and processes data in the United States. Their data processing agreements provide transfer safeguards including standard contractual clauses. No external signature provider receives the documents. Address autocomplete sends entered text to the French IGN Géoplateforme service. Booking, payment and messaging links open third-party services with their own policies; no third-party calendar is embedded automatically.
Retention
Unsuccessful requests: up to three years after last contact. Project information: for the contractual relationship, followed by retention of records necessary for contractual evidence, warranties and defence of rights during applicable statutory periods. Accounting records: ten years. Disputes may require retention until resolved. The manager arranges deletion or archiving; access expiry is not automatic data deletion. Browser drafts are restricted to the current tab as described below.
Your rights
Contact contact@batimaestro.fr for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, objection to legitimate-interest processing, or instructions after death. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. We normally respond within one month and notify you of any lawful extension. Some records must be retained for legal duties or defence of rights. You may complain to the French CNIL. We do not make decisions with legal effects through entirely automated processing.
