What we are asked most often.
Do I have to pay for a quote?
We carry out a technical survey on site, for €250 excl. VAT (€300 incl. VAT), deducted from the quote if you sign it. It includes measurements, a substrate assessment and a first discussion of the layout.
What is your price per square metre?
We do not give one. The price depends on the substrate, the material, the format, the pattern, the cuts and the location. That is what the survey and the quote are for.
Which projects do you take on?
Those that call for real craft: noble materials, complex patterns, wet spaces, bespoke work. We tell you honestly from your first request.
Can you work while we live in the house?
Yes. Protection, barriers, extracted cutting and continuous cleaning.
How do I follow my project?
Use your client code to view the crew on site, today’s tasks, progress, the schedule, reported issues and documents shared by BATI MAESTRO. You can ask questions or leave instructions in the messaging area.
What are your lead times?
The survey is arranged quickly, the quote follows within ten working days, and the start date is firm once you order. We never give approximate dates.
Can I supply my own materials?
Yes. We inspect them with you on delivery.
Are you insured?
Ten-year liability insurance is being arranged. The certificate and insurer details will be provided before any work requiring this cover.
What warranties apply after the works?
Completion (1 year), equipment (2 years) and structural (10 years), from handover.
Do you work everywhere?
Everywhere in France, and abroad for clients who own a home there.
I live abroad. How do I follow the works?
With the site portal and, if you wish, our project management service.
Do you lay parquet or do plumbing?
No. On a larger project, we can coordinate those trades as part of a project management service.
Why do your photos never show a whole house?
Our clients value their privacy. We show the laying, the material and the detail, never anything that could identify a place or a person.
How does payment work?
A deposit on order, a written payment schedule linked to progress, the balance on handover.
